New Project in Lomma

We are excited to present our recently completed project in the beautiful city of Lomma. Acting as both architect, general designer, and construction supervisor allowed us to ensure a smooth execution, delivering technically sound, regulation-compliant, and aesthetically pleasing solutions.

The central focus of this project was the extension of an existing house, which posed a unique challenge: harmoniously blending two volumes and a pitched roof. Despite the limitations of a narrow plot, which constrained potential design options, these challenges became the foundation for a creative solution that seamlessly integrates the two structures.

The geometric concept of this design is illustrated in the attached sketches.

The extension’s geometry is naturally influenced by the surrounding environment. A modest yet welcoming entrance is framed by two distinct volumes: one rising tall and vertical, the other extending low and horizontal. This dynamic interplay of vertical and horizontal elements is further emphasized by the thoughtful arrangement of wooden panels on the facades.
