Summer break is over, and we are back to work at full speed. Among other things, this time was spent sailing. It is ever fascinating that a boat is propelled solely by the forces of nature. Sailing employs principles of aerodynamics, hydrodynamics, and statics. A boat gently leaning over the water's surface is also aesthetically pleasing, suspended in an elusive balance between wind pressure and buoyancy—a force created by water on the immersed object. This balance resembles a sculpture; even though it’s a dynamic phenomenon, it incorporates a feeling of stillness.

Some architects strive to express movement and dynamism within their structures. I aim for the opposite: I attempt to express statics, stability, and stillness.

Hope you had a nice summer break! Leave your comments below. Stay tuned and connected with us on Facebook!
